Noodles to Try

“Went here with friends for dinner! Cozy and cute atmosphere with bar style seating arrangement. Perfect place for soup season! I ordered the Black Tonkotsu Ramen which was filling. The noodles were al dente and the broth was savory with a nice hint from the black garlic oil.”

“Cozy and quaint ramen shop just off the 16th Street Mall that offers a tasty bowl of noodles with good broth. My Black Tonkotsu was really good especially with grilled chashu pork belly. Definitely worth a visit when spending time in that area.”

“Just had some excellent ramen and green tea here! Small counter with great service. Try the Green Vegetable Ramen with tofu. The peppery, arugula was off the charts in that broth!”

“Great place with tasty, affordable food. And the green vegetable ramen (vegan) is delicious! Good service too.”

“I got the miso ramen with pork and it was amazing, the soup was flavorful and the pork was well-seasoned. They cook their noodles to a firm texture that makes them stay chewy and bouncy even if they've been sitting in the broth for a bit. The portion sizes are also perfect - I was able to finish the entire bowl without feeling like I over ate. Come visit this cozy ramen bar! You won't be disappointed.”

“One of the best and most clean tasting miso ramen I ever had. Very nice employees and a very very clean place. 10/10! Definitely marking this place on my list for the next time I am in town.”

“Great service and delicious ramen. I had the red spicy miso ramen and highly recommend it. The perfect amount of spice.”

“Oishii ramen is my favorite ramen joint in town. It is exactly what I want, no complex tricks, just a good base with noodles cooked just right. I like the spicy red miso.”

“I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen with chicken, and my mom got the black tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. We both LOVED our ramen. Seriously some of the best ramen we have ever had. The service was exceptional as well, and the best part was that you could hear the chef singing in the kitchen! We loved dining here and would definitely come back.”

“Best Ramen in the US. I have been trying out Ramen all over the country and to be honest the Spicy Tonkotsu I had at Oishii ramen was the most delicious. Also, the people were very friendly with us. It is a must try place for everyone. Will come again for sure.”

“Found a discrete ramen restaurant right by Magnolia Hotel on Stout downtown. Oishii Ramen was small but had the traditional Japaneses ramen restaurant feel and ambience. The menu was simple with 6 types of ramen, 6 types of appetizers and a fried rice, which made the decision easy. The soup of the tonkotsu ramen was flavorful, the noodles were springy and chewy, the pork belly was well marinated, soft and tasty, and the boiled half egg was delightfully sweet, salty and umami. Overall quite satisfying, certainly worth a detour from the thoroughfare.”

“Tonkotsu ramen and pirk gyozas were amazing. 10/10 food. Broth was flavorful and ingredients tasted fresh”

“Delicious. Packed full of flavor! The salmon poke tacos are a must, the spicy salmon fried rice things are amazing. You cant go wrong with any of the noodles.”
